I got the opportunity to shoot a little local advert for Adidas gear this week. Because it was a "traditional" 4K video shoot, I had to stay behind the camera and direct.. and NOBODY wants to see me getting sweaty behind the lens.. So I custom built a 180º VR Rig to allow me to create a VR experience Whilst I performed my duties as a Cinematographer. What you are watching now is some of the result.. a 180 degree VR Experience formatted into a 360º virtual Construct, so that YouTube can support it and display it properly. I think it's kinda nice because you don't have to sit on a swivel chair to enjoy the experience. just keep your head on a swivel..
